教育理念
一、秉承培植佛門人才之一貫信念，俾使佛教教育長久發展，積極充實設備，為達理想的教育環境而努力。
二、成立和合僧團，以佛教義理、修行及弘化教育為三大要點:
(一)義理:培育人才作高深義理研究、著作翻譯及各種教學的開發。
(二)修行：設立禪修部、淨宗研修部。
(三)弘化教育：寺院行政和各種法務實習以及各種佛教事業的開發。
Educational Philosophy
1. Inheriting the firm conviction of developing professional sincere devotee, improving substantial facilities, and establishing education projects, these will lead the academic education to develop continuingly independently, without interruption; in addition, to strive to enhance and achieve optimal Buddhist Studies academic environment.
2. To establish harmonious sangha (samaggasangha), that is based on three major factors, the Tenets of Buddhism, the practical training , and the preaching to the general public.
(i)Tenets: Establishing study groups, conducting advanced research and exploration, translating selected publications, and developing as well as innovating teaching programs.
(ii)Practical Training: We offer specialized Ch’an Retreat Forest Park, and Pure Land study-retreat department.
(iii)Social Preaching: Developing and strengthening the monastic administration skills, conducting dharma activities, establishing district branches, as well as innovating and developing the propagation of dharma.
大學部
一、理念：以傳統叢林教育宏規，結合現代的教育理念，培養健全僧格及義解弘化人才。
二、課程：
(一)佛學：《阿毘達磨俱舍論》、天台教學、《解深密經》、唯識學、《攝大乘論》、《整理僧伽制度論》、阿含學、原始佛教、部派佛教、史學方法論、淨土學、中觀學、《楞伽經》、《大方廣佛華嚴經》、戒律學、禪典導讀、《大乘起信論》、《瑜伽師地論》、《八識規矩頌》等。
(二) 弘化：宗教法令、寺院行政等。
(三) 語文：英文、日文等。
(四) 藝文：佛畫、書法、篆刻、電腦教學等。
(五) 實習：每學期安排法務實習、活動策劃、行腳托缽、禪淨修持及作文比賽、演講等。
三、修學年限：四年
四、報名資格：僧俗七眾，不限男女，須住校。
五、考試方式：(一)筆試，參考書目:《古文觀止》、《佛學概論》蔣維喬著

I. Undergraduate Programs
1. Philosophy:Based on the traditional cóng lín (Chinese great monasteries) education system and supported with modern education concept, our goal is to cultivate Sangha integrity, full understanding of Dharma, and the spirit of serving the Sangha in our prospective students.

(iv)Culture and Art: Buddhist painting, Chinese Calligraphy, Seal Engraving, Computer Science, etc.
(v)Internship: Monastic administration skills, event planning, alms-round, Pure Land practice and essay competitions and etc.

高中部
一、理念：透過叢林生活規範及佛法教育，培育具有正知正見的僧眾。
二、課程：
(一)佛學：《佛法概論》、大乘經論導讀、《成佛之道》、《教誡律儀》、印度佛教史、中國佛教史、《六祖壇經》、《金剛經》、《釋禪波羅蜜》、《大寶積經》、《大乘廣五蘊論》、《唯識三十頌》、《八宗綱要》、淨土學、天台教學、《小止觀》、《安樂集》、佛教禪學等。
(二)語文：英文、日文。
(三)藝文：書法、佛畫、篆刻、電腦教學等。
(四)其它：每學期安排法務實習、活動策劃、行腳托鉢等多元實習課程。
三、修學年限：三年
四、報名資格：僧俗七眾，不限男女，須住校。

II. Senior High School Programs
1. Philosophy:To train Sangha community in daily life and educate Sangha members with elementary Buddhist knowledge. Inculcating student monks practice in daily life according to the Dharma, and therefore, developing in them the right understanding.

二、修學年限：三年

(一)僧俗七眾，不限男女，須住校。
(二)外籍僑生能繼續升上高中部、大學部者。
四、考試方式：(一)筆試 (二)口試。
III. Elementary Chinese Programs
1. Philosophy:To educate the young by cultivating in them the understanding and devotion towards the holy life. To improve and strengthen Chinese language overall learning capacity.
2. Duration of Study: 3 years
3. Eligibility:
(i) Buddhist monks/nuns, male/female lay persons; must live on campus.
(ii) Advance opportunities for international students to Senior High School and College levels.
4. Examination: (i)Written, (ii)Oral
禪修部
一、理念：旨在提振祖師禪風。
二、課程：
(一)解門：禪堂行儀、《禪關策進》、《禪林寶訓》、《祖師禪要》、《諸宗要義》、《釋
禪波羅蜜》、《燈錄選讀》、《潙山警策》、《十牛圖》等。
(二)行門：
1.以參話頭及默照禪引導純正禪修方法。
2.每日坐四支香、行四支香專心參禪，以及冬制七期禪七。
三、修學年限：三年
四、報名資格：限出家眾，須住校。
五、考試方式：
(一)筆試，參考書目:《古文觀止》、《佛學概論》蔣維喬著
(二)口試。
六、福利制度：每月享有單金。
IV. Ch’an Retreat Programs
1. Philosophy:To advocate the two main streams traditional Chinese Ch’an practice,Cān huà tóu (Contemplate on Critical Phrase), and Mò zhào chán (Silent Insight), in order to develop wholesome meditation.
2. Course Schedule:

˙Wholesome Chán practice by contemplating on Chán’s phrase.
˙4-Session of intensive meditation daily; and 7-session of retreat, each session lasts for 7 days.

短期禪修班
一、養成班：
(一)課程：一期以一年為限，每日坐四支香、行四支香。每一年期滿頒發結業證書。具有三年結業(無須連續性的三年亦可)證書者，頒發畢業證書。
(二)報名資格：限出家眾，須住校。
(三)考試方式：口試。
(四)福利制度：每月享有單金。
二、進修班：
(一)課程：每日坐四支香、行四支香。每年審核一次堂眾實修進度。
(二)報名資格：有三年以上禪修畢業證書之出家眾，須住校。
(三)考試方式：口試。
(四)福利制度：每月享有單金。
Short-Term Ch’an Retreat
1. Fundamental Training
(i)Course Schedule:Duration of Training is one-year for Monastic. Typical daily schedule is sì zhī xiāng 4-Session of sitting and walking regular Ch’an practice throughout the year. A certificate will be given to all participants who have completed a full year term. A diploma will be granted to participants who have completed three years of training (it does not have to be a consecutive of three years.)
(ii)Eligibility:Buddhist monks and nuns; must live on campus.
(iii)Examination:Oral
(iv)Benefits: Monthlydān jīn (a stipend as saṅgha dāna)
2. Advance Course
(i)Course Schedule: Typical daily schedule is sì zhī xiāng 4-Session of sitting and walking regular Ch’an practice throughout the year. All participants will be reviewed for their compliance of behavior and development after the end of each year.
(ii)Eligibility:Buddhist monks/nuns and must have completed 3 years of Ch’an practice with an official diploma. Once a monk/nun is accepted into the program, he/she must live on campus.
(iii)Examination:Oral
(iv)Benefits: Monthlydān jīn (a stipend as saṅgha dāna)
淨土一日課程班
一、宗旨: 培養一門深入研修淨土學，解行並重的淨土行者。
二、目標: 通達淨土教理、教史，深入淨土五經一論，開展對西方淨土和念佛的深信切願專修淨土。
三、修學年限:二年(畢業後可留下參學實習一年)
四、課程內容:
(一)教理:淨土學、《阿彌陀經要解》、《無量壽經》、《觀無量壽經》、《普賢行願品》、《大勢至菩薩念佛圓通章》、《往生論》、《大藏經》中念佛的利益探討、淨土與禪、方便之道。
(二)教史:《淨土教思想論》、《中國淨土教理史》、《印度佛教思想史》、《初期大乘佛教之起源與開展》。
(三)行門:禮拜淨土懺、念佛共修。

六、指導法師:性儀法師
七、上課時間：每星期五，AM 9:30—11:20 PM 2:00—4:00
八、師資課程：
《淨土生無生論》- 性儀法師、《觀無量壽經》- 如一法師、
《普賢行願品》- 證淨法師、《淨土念佛觀》- 大睿法師
九、福利制度：住校者，每月酌發供養金2000元。
僧伽進修班
一、理念：培養有心繼續深入「經、律、論」及解行並重的僧伽人才。
二、課程：以「經、律、論」配合行門。
(一)解門：
1.經典：《華嚴經》、《法華經》、《般若經》、《淨土五經》、《楞嚴經》、《楞伽經》、《解深密經》、《金剛經》、《阿含經》等。
2.論典：《大智度論》、《瑜伽師地論》、《往生論》、《大乘起信論》、《攝大乘論》、《中觀》、《成唯識論》、《菩提道次第廣論》、《阿毘達磨俱舍論》等。
3.律典：出家五眾戒律與菩薩戒律。
4.其他 : 佛學英文、電腦佛學教學、祖師語錄等。
(二)行門：以念佛、參禪、安般念、不淨觀、慈心觀為主。
三、修學年限：三年。修滿三十個學分者，頒予畢業證書。
四、報名資格：限出家五眾，不住校，遠程可掛單。
五、報名方式：不限時接受報名。
六、上課時間：每星期四，AM 8：30-11：00，PM 2：00-4：00
佛學推廣教育班
一、理念：培養有心深入經論的佛弟子。
二、課程：以佛學思想概要、如來藏系、般若系經論為主。
三、修學方式：修滿三十個學分，頒予畢業證書。
四、報名資格：僧俗七眾，不限男女，不住校。
五、報名方式：不限時接受報名。
六、上課時間：每星期五，AM 8：30-11：00，PM 2：00-4：00

第一次: 106年6月25日，遠地考生可提前來院住宿。
佛學加重計分，口試不及格者不予錄取。
第二次: 106年8月25日(含僑生考試)。
107年度第33屆
第一次: 107年6月24日
第二次: 107年8月22日(含僑生考試)。
Registration Information
Admission Examination Schedule 2017 years of the 32nd Session
(i) First batch of examination date:First batch exam will be given on the 25th June, 2017. Accommodations are available for examinees from far regions. Extra credits will be granted for Buddhist Dharma acquaintances. Anyone who does not pass the oral exam cannot be permitted.
(ii) Second batch of examination date:Second batch will be given on the22th August, 2017. (Overseas applicants are encouraged to take the second batch of examination.)
Admission Examination Schedule 2018 years of the 33rd Session
(i) First batch of examination date: 24th June, 2018.
(ii) Second batch of examination date: 22nd August, 2018. (Overseas applicants are encouraged to take the second batch of examination.)
